The Polis Venezia Association, formed by students who come together to promote cultural and social activities, provides the following information on the processing of personal data collected through the website: www.polisvenezia.com

TYPE OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED

A) Browsing data

The computer systems used for the operation of the Site acquire, in the course of their normal operation, certain data whose transmission is implicit in the use of the Internet. These data are not collected to be associated with identified individuals, but they could, through processing, allow the identification of Users (e.g. IP addresses, pages visited, access times).

B) Data provided by users

To use the services offered, Users must provide personal data, such as first name, last name, email, age, and payment information. Such data are considered “sensitive data” under the RGPD.

PURPOSES OF PROCESSING

Personal data are processed exclusively for the institutional purposes of the Association, including:

- Managing membership subscriptions and membership registry.

- Promote cultural and social activities.

- Sending information on initiatives of the Association.

- Allow participation in events and campaigns.

- Managing administrative and financial aspects of the Association.

LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

The processing is based on consent, in accordance with Article 9(2)(d) of the RGPD. However, consent is not required for the processing of data of individuals with whom the Association has regular contact.

PRINCIPLES AND MODALITIES OF PROCESSING

The processing will be carried out in accordance with the principles of lawfulness, fairness and transparency, with security measures to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the data.

NATURE OF CONFERMENT

The provision of data is mandatory in order to fulfill university institutional purposes. Refusal to provide such data will result in the impossibility of establishing or continuing the relationship.

RECIPIENTS OF DATA

Data may be communicated to:

- Subjects that provide services for the management of the Site.

- Authorities responsible for legal obligations.

- Data Processors, if necessary.

RETENTION TIMES

Data will be retained until the purposes for which it was collected are achieved and in accordance with current regulations.

DATA TRANSFER OUTSIDE THE EU

Data may be transferred to countries outside Europe, subject to the signing of standard contractual clauses.
